Every Step Counts!

Hello lovely world!

During this last holiday season, I was a saint! My food choices were completely vital, fresh and delicious! I can honestly say that I broke the cultural programming that holidays somehow need to be gluttonous. I feasted on living foods and was rewarded with energy and clarity.

After my holiday break to Colorado, I have been noticing something interesting. Between the rain and not being prepared with all my superfood tools, I have started to eat cooked foods on a regular basis. Granted, I take Pure Synergy Supergreens and Amazon Herb Digestazon before eating my vegan cooked meals, but all the same, cooked foods do make me much more sleepy and sluggish. I also feel like a part of me is being rebellious after being so saintly at the holidays!

In our current culture, we are bombarded with a variety of food choices. I often meet raw food junkies that feel guilty when they eat cooked food or that they have to hide it from other raw foodist because they might be judged.

So here I am people, coming clean; I eat cooked food!

There, I said it! And as much as I notice the side effects (brain fog, loss of energy and constipation), I still like my cooked food now and then.

What can we do about this growing trend of fanaticism?

For me, the powerful truth lies in the reasons for why I became a raw food junkie.

I became attracted to these technologies because the vibrancy of my teachers was inspiring. I saw that my friends on cooked food were decaying from diseases that seemed preventable. Also, the planetary consequences of the animal and industrial farming industry are very grim.

I come face to face with the insight that even if I eat cooked food, all of the goals that I set out for are still being accomplished. No matter how much, a reduction in animal product consumption contributes to less animal suffering. Every dollar spent on organic produce creates a demand that sends a message to farmers. Every mineralizing superfood in your body MINERALIZES your body! Every enzyme you add to your cooked food increases the bio availability of your nutrient absorption.

Every step your take makes a difference. Please remember this as your navigate through your day that you have so much power in taking one small step. That one step leads to another and another- the exponential expansion is really beyond comprehension.

To your health!
